Meet the Advisors



Ms. Leslie Tukes, graduated with a B.A. degree in Psychology from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and a Master of Science in Administration from Central Michigan University. She is currently an Academic Counselor for the College of Arts and Science at Fayetteville State University. Ms. Tukes' community involvement includes being a member of Covenant Love Church where she works at the Connect Central Station and advises the Omicron Nu chapter Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. She also volunteers for the United Way and the Arts Council of Fayetteville.



Mrs. Cherelle Harris, a 2007 honors graduate of Fayetteville State University obtained a B.A. in Sociology. While attending FSU, she was a recipient of a full four year academic scholarship and served as a Chancellor's Scholar. Mrs. Harris also served as a Bronco Ambassador, an Orientation Leader and was a member of Alpha Kappa Delta, the National Honor Society for Sociology majors, and FSU's Sociology Club. She was a volunteer with the Campus Daycare, Bronco iRadio and the Intramural Sports Department. She is a member of the Delta Xi chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. where she served as the Chairperson of the Economic Development Committee. Currently, Mrs. Harris is a Testing Administrator within FSU's University Testing Services Department where she oversees the finances.
